Original or Ideal?
At Troentorp we offer two types of wooden clog bottoms, Original and Ideal. The Original bottom is our classic wood bottom developed around 1957. The Ideal bottoms were designed in the early 1990s with a polyurethane sole to make the clogs softer to walk in. Both bottoms have the same foot bed and heel height. The difference is that Original is almost all wood with a thin sole, while the Ideal bottom has a thicker polyurethane sole.

Choosing last
We offer lasts in two different widths:
Standard (G): This is what we recommend for people with normal width feet. This is the
last that we have always sold on the American market.
High (H): We recommend this last for people with a high instep or wide feet.
